Vegan Beef Boa Buns

Place the vegan beef pieces into a bowl with the hoisin sauce, vegan soy, grated ginger and grated garlic. Leave to marinade. Place a steamer on the hob. Cook the Hirata buns for about 2 minutes on little pieces of parchment paper.

In a wok or frying pan, heat the oil. Drain the vegan beef pieces from the marinade, keeping the marinade. Fry the pieces until they crisp. Add the marinade back to the pieces and fry until hot. Divide the pieces between the buns and arrange on a serving plate.

For the salad, simply mix all the ingredients together, add a little to the side of the buns. Serve with a little pot of the spicy sauce and a fresh lime wedge.
